AbilityFirst Magazine

This lively semi-annual magazine highlights AbilityFirst, a nonprofit with activity centers and a camp for differently abled individuals across Southern California. For this issue, I conducted over 35 interviews with subject matter experts—including staff, corporate sponsors, camp counselors, and UCLA medical directors—and wrote several features. One standout piece was a profile of Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Jane Kaczmarek, a prominent spokesperson for AbilityFirst.
